WORKSHOPS
Lava Girl Surf was founded in 2012, when we launched the first New York Women’s Surf Workshop. These distinct off-water workshops are engaging social events that encourage women to explore the fundamental elements of the sport.
In 2013 Lava Girl Surf hosted three off-water workshops that covered water safety and surf etiquette, off-water fitness, injury awareness and prevention, understanding surf data and forecasting, surfboard function and design, ding repair and more.
